Protection
Corrosion Protection
Stonhard lining solutions provide corrosion protection, preventing the degradation of substrates due to chemical exposure, moisture, and harsh industrial and outdoor environments. We have the resources and expertise you need to formulate and install protection for chemical processing plants and wastewater treatment facilities.
Acid Protection
Protection against acid is critical for industries where acidic substances are handled, processed, or stored. Acidic exposure can corrode and deteriorate surfaces leading to costly repairs, safety hazards, and the reduced lifespan of floors and linings. Chemical Protection

Moisture Protection
Stonhard products are moisture resistant with waterproofing membranes and linings available. We protect facilities from water infiltration that leads to structural damage, mold growth, and bacterial growth. In addition to our products, our installation procedures ensure floors are sloped to drains to eliminate pooling and puddling. Stonhard will also moisture test concrete when conditions require it to ensure the proper steps are taken to install your floor properly.
Slip Protection
Stonhard floors can be formulated and installed with varying levels of texture to ensure traction for increased slip resistance offering safer surfaces in high-traffic areas, and areas exposed to water, grease, and oils. Samples are available to guide you in your decision.
Anti-Static Protection
In some industries, facilities require specialised flooring with protection against electro-static discharge. Stonhard has several ESD flooring formulas designed for electronics manufacturing, data centers, clean rooms, and more. Stonhard tests every ESD flooring installation to ensure safety.
Thermal Protection
Thermal resistant products are essential for facilities exposed to extreme temperatures (experiencing thermal shock and thermal cycling). Stonhard formulates urethane flooring to handle these conditions in kitchens, breweries, food processing, pharmaceutical processing, and more.
Hygienic Protection
Stonhard floors and walls provide ultra cleanability and easy maintenance because they are seamless with no crevaces for dirt, bacteria, mold, or mildew to hide.
